Coupon inserts vary by region, larger cities may get more inserts, California may have higher value coupons, different regions generally have some variations. Research which paper in your area has more inserts available to you and purchase multiple copies every week. I started off by buying one paper per household member, and slowly increased as my budget allowed.

Sign up for free samples of different products. Companies usually mail you a sample along with coupons as an incentive for you to buy their products.

You've probably already noticed the blinking coupon (Blinkie) dispensing machines attached to shelves throughout the store, but have you actually took a moment to stop and see what the coupons are for, the value of the coupon, the expiration date....I'm always looking for a coupon that I don't have just yet! Watch for pads you tear from of coupons (Tearpad) on displays or hanging from shelves. Coupons can also be attached to products, like a sticker, you peel off (Peelie). If you look at coupons like the are dollar bills you don't have to spend, then browsing for them is more exciting. Most pharmacies also have special healthcare coupon displays or free trial offers. Remember to use your coupon ettiquette when browsing stores for coupons. Allow others the chance to save money as well!
